The Fourth.

With some more art work ready to be photographed I got busy finding a new model for my new location. Kindly my stunning teammate, Victoria, let me borrow her. Choosing a similar location and as you can see similar styles of Nest-hair and feathered eyes, we flew through the shoot. Here are a few of my faves...
Victoria's hair has thus far been my favorite to work with and in upcoming shoots I hope to take advantage of its glorious length, and create some more adventurous looks!

The Third.

3 weeks ago on the 17th of July I endeavored to have my first solo photo shoot. Not my first shoot as I’ve had a couple previously with the help of my magical friends (magical Make-up Artist, Rachel Johnson, and magical Photographer Kate Mueller).
But being summer I am sadly deprived of these dear friends. But photos needed to be taken, and photographer I became. Not only did I need to post some of my new art work on the ArtistsNest.etsy.com, but I needed to document it for my portfolio. Here are some of my fave shots.

The Second.

The second shoot for the ArtistsNest I was prepared. I had my models, make-up artist, and photographer scheduled, and art pieces ready
This time letting the creative juices flow I got a bit more creative. Last shoot I had given my model, Jecolah, some gold leaf to delicately swirl around her eyes. This shoot, Feathers. Feathers. and more Feathers became the name of the game.
Excited by the flair of naturalism I turned my models into nest-haired, feathered birds. Some of it worked beautifully...

The First.

In the beginning I borrowed two lovely and artistic friends, Kate Mueller and Rachel Johnson, to help me with Make-Up and Photography. With them I gathered a couple of my beautiful friends and put them to work as models.
The day before the proposed shoot, I was up all night franticly trying to find props and create enough work to be photographed. I was quite decided before the shoot that I wanted everything from Jewelry to outfits to give off a natural feminine look, with a bit of an aura of fashion couture.

Suffice to say I was absolutely thrilled with the results and could wait to post them on the ArtistsNest.etsy.com

On My Own.

For my first photoshoot all lonesome like, I borrowed my stunning friend Jess and hit the park. Being away from school, I did not have either of my magic girls to help me out, no magic make-up artist, Rachel, and no magic photographer, Kate Muller.

Away in the Wind...

Dandelions. How can the death of a living organism be so beautiful? The newest addition to The Artist's Nest are larger than life, yet life like, dandelions. Each is meticulously handcrafted from over 160 seedlings. An assortment of unlikely materials are transformed into these enormous, regal creatures. Blown in the wind their blossoming seedlings are flying fast to their new destination. To create new life and new beauty. But in order that this beauty might come about, death must completely consume the mother and host flower.

The 3rd and final.

In the beginning there where many attempts at an Etsy shop. This is hopefully not only the 3rd but final attempt. I enjoyed the others but they were business, this on the other hand is pleasure. Pure pleasure Please enjoy...

The Beginning...

I love to create. What more can I say, it is not only a passion but a love. I may not make my fortune with it. But I will not stop. I can not.

I desire to taste.I desire to see. And I desire to experience all that I can of the most stunning art man can ever experience...Nature...

"Taste and see that the Lord is good," a brief but eloquent poem that summarizes the beautiful dreams of my Heart.
